The Typewriter


George Parker was at an antique shop. George was looking for an antique lamp when a black typewriter caught his eye.

"How old is this typewriter?" asked George.

The clerk wouldn't answer.

George picked the typewriter up and brought it to the counter.

"How much does this typewriter cost?" he asked again.

The clerk was standing still, and you could tell that he was not breathing. George looked around the counter and saw that the clerk's head was nailed to the wall!

George looked at the typewriter again. A tag that said "Free" was on it.

So George took the typewriter home with him.

That was the last time George went into an antique store.

George was found a day later, nailed to his front door. A reporter found the typewriter and took it home with him.

The reporter was dead the next day.
